Meet The Builders’ Group Staff.
For more than 20 years, brothers Terry and Tom Chynoweth have dedicated their efforts to the design and construction of finely crafted traditional homes in the Louisville area.
After first earning their college degrees and working for over 10 years in the corporate world, both Tom and Terry decided it was time to change course and work toward their shared passion – building attractive, efficient, well-constructed, and very livable homes in their own community.
Incorporating initially as T&T Chynoweth Builders, they discovered that they favored constructing homes that would be compatible with the beautiful traditional homes for which Louisville was already renowned.
It was no surprise, then, that the Chynoweths were the first builders who expressed an interest in being part of an exciting new concept, Norton Commons. And, ultimately, they were chosen to be among the limited number of builders who were selected to take part in the creation of Louisville’s first Traditional Neighborhood Development.
In 2001, Terry and Tom re-organized as The Builders’ Group and carefully searched for the talented team of professionals – designers, drafters, and project managers – who now make up their respected company.
The Chynoweth brothers – first as T&T Chynoweth and now as The Builders’ Group – have been active in the National Association of Home Builders for more than 20 years, and many beautiful examples of their work exist in the local area. You will find their homes in many of Louisville’s finest neighborhoods, including:
